THANKSGIVING WEEK

Well it seems like a long time... We had family conferences and a holiday, but now we are back to "normal." Right!

Where did Julia's birthday go during all this?

IT WAS JULIA'S BIRTHDAY!!!

We all enjoyed Julia's story. Little sister Ella explored the room while Julia took her walk around the sun. How can she be five already?

We ate tasty cookies and sang to our dear friend Julia.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIA! WE LOVE YOU!

During our very short week we planted flower bulbs brought by children.

JACKSON PLANTIN TULIP BULBS

We continued our studies of Iroquois culture. We cooked an Iroquois-inspired lunch of corn soup, corn cakes, Anasazi beans and ham and squash.

A favorite song and fingerplay...

(By Mr. Sanford Jones)

"Candles in the night, candles in the night,

Shedding their soft light, shedding their soft light,

White fire insects in the forest, leading Hiawatha home."
